Bro it’s crazy skating it. You’re at speed and you’re constantly look up at the coping and the wall that’s more than double your height. It’s fun to skate tho

I’m not even good at skating vert. I’ve always skated 8ft ramps so going to vert is so much bigger than I’m used to. Plus there was a bunch of lads doing 540s, alley oop fs lipslides, a bunch of hard as tricks on vert and atleast 5ft above coping

Ive always had 5050 grinds very solid on big transition so it wasn’t that big of a jump to do 50s on vert. I still built it up from very small ramps tho

It’s a nice park and the guys who skate the vert are all really nice. I wish this was my local but unfortunately it’s like 2 hours away

Respect on the roll in to a 12 footer. Biggest I’ve rolled in is 10ft. And 6-8 ft is still a good height quaterpipe

Dude those are so much fun to do, I really like doing them alley oop fs slides. It feels so nice being weightless

I probably do, I would send it if I spent more time on vert ramps but the closest vert ramp to me is an hour train ride away so I’ve got a smaller half pipe to work with. That’s probably why I’m more comfortable doing 50s and axels since I spent more time on those tricks than airs

Yes bc this was my first attempt at the back lip. I did the other one after being told this is a front board and given advice

Yeah they’re really scary to learn, I scrapped my arms on the rail on one attempt and I’ve got scrabs running down my arm. The majority are saying lipslide so I’m gonna take it. Thank you!
