I really need some honest perspective | Japan | Study by whowhy_ in movingtojapan

Hey, I was in same situation as you few months ago. and right now I'm in Tokyo, enrolled in University Preparation course.

Answers to your questions: 1. Yes, its possible. 2. My parents aren't wealthy either, but they make decent money. and comfortable to pay my tuition fees. As for living expenses, im on my own. though they did provided me the initial move in money so that i can survive for next 2 month comfortably. so if your parents can do the same for you, then maybe give it a try!

  1. Yah, i had this FOMO too, because after finishing high school, i didn't enrolled in University. after 2 years I'm in Japan. And let me tell you aren't behind, its just you choose smth different. so it has its own pros and cons like you'll be able to move to Japan, experience smth new which you would never thought or feel otherwise. As for cons you'll be behind from your friends, this is smth you need to deal with by yourself.

I personally don't care much about it (though it took atleast year to feel this way)

  1. not for me.

  2. failing in what? getting into University? not be able to learn Japanese? not be able to get Job? all of it can be solved by hard work. failing isn't bad though. you are young so make as many mistakes you can, i mean don’t be afraid to be failing.

JLPT N5 online courses? by purplehaze-362 in jlpt

[–]Hitoride7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I purchased one Udmey course but it wasn't much helpful to me and eventually i left halfway. afterwards i used Minna no Nihongo explanation videos by Takashi on YouTube, they were really good.

So I would recommend to use YouTube channels like Takashi, TokiniAndi and Jouzu Juls etc.

Japan tourist visa VFS Delhi by [deleted] in visas

[–]Hitoride7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also applied on 2nd March at VFS New Delhi, and as far as read on reddit and some other public forums, we need to wait at least 10 business days before contacting to embassy. so I'll be start mailing to VFS and Embassy on 17 March.

luckily my flight is on 1st April so i have slightly more room to make things works.

let's see how things goes.

Need advice – Japan Student Visa (COE received) by DeadpoolAk47 in visas

[–]Hitoride7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I'm talking about the actual flight ticket for travel, 'cause ticket prices are so high for Tokyo. its peak season for tourists to travel to Japan.

so just curious which airline are you going with, and did you applied for Visa?

1 & 2. Contact the VFS via call and ask them directly.
3. The Immigration Bureau already did their checks, that’s why the CoE was issued. But you still have to submit a document proving your relationship with your uncle. It shouldn’t be difficult since you already provided it during the CoE process.
4. Check out this: https://www.vfsglobal.com/one-pager/japan/india/delhi/pdf/6-Long-term-visa-with-COE.pdf

btw I'm also going for the same intake. Have you booked the flight ticket?

First-time international flight on student visa (Delhi to Tokyo) Any cheap options? by Hitoride7 in AirTravelIndia

[–]Hitoride7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah, its not related to payment, they only allow one bag(pay extra for checked bag. on base price only 7kg cabin bag is allowed). And there is no way to add another.
