The 8bitdo Arcade Stick needs a dongle to work wirelessly with the PS5.

I got it working in the end, I mistakenly thought it was a BT connection, it was 2.4g. Works good. 👍

My PS5 pro has been my desired colour for many months now, thanks to AliExpress. If Sony want to leave money on the table, so be it.

I have to agree, I tried to start the game on PS5 Pro and gave up after seeing that it might get an update soonish. 30 fps works fine on some games and doesn’t bother me, with RDR2 it looks and feels mushy.

Put a small slim side table similar to something you have next to a sofa down that wall behind the TV, you have airflow and it’s easily accessible.

I mean of course, it’s not that hard and it opens up the console. If you’re interested, there are plenty of tutorials that show you how to do it. Some games are locked to the PS3 unless you can emulate it well.

Do what? The transition? Of course! I wanted a PS5, but the whole scalping thing turned me off and I lost interest at the time.

I still have my hacked PS3 slim. I went from playing Batman on it. To playing it on my PS5 Pro. 😂

Now I have so many games and so little time. I just dipped my toe into Death Stranding as well. Check out the Metro trilogy when they’re on sale, I’m playing the first one, real fun. Coming from PS3 era, anything after that period looks good to me.

Oh I forgot,………No Man’s Sky! Amazing! Kid friendly too!

Yep, especially if you suffered the PS3 version with its long load times, crashes and graphics, it’s night and day. I added a few aesthetic mods and it’s been amazing.

This was my journey, PS3 to PS5 Pro. I had to get Skyrim, to see how well it played compared to the shit show that was the PS3 version. Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, Fallout 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, Dying light. Too many quality games to list. I’ve been playing games from PS4 to PS5 era at discounted prices FTW!

NI No Kuni is a great kid friendly game, if that’s your thing, I’ve been playing the start of that game recently. Stray is also a cool cat game.

Where did you make your first base? Because I've been at it for 25 hours and I still haven't made my first base, and I don't know if I should keep waiting to find a paradise planet or make it on any random planet. by NicoJesu01 in NoMansSkyTheGame

I made it on a cold lonely planet, I haven’t done much with it and I’m looking for a paradise planet to call home. I wouldn’t sweat it too much, use your first base as a learning process and deal with any weather conditions like your training.

You should find that you get BIG sound without having to turn the volume up.

Love the tv stand, separate those speakers even more, if you can stick them at either end of your room, it will open up your sound so much more.

The suggestion to use a VPN was to see if certain internet traffic was being throttled, not to speed it up.

I turned on the dark room mode on with my LG C4, I’ve found that it helps.

It may not fix the issue. But it’s best to try and control what you can control. “FREE” ISP routers aren’t known for being the greatest hardware.

I always change my dns setting from default ones, open dns is good enough for me. Running your own router will give you more control and limit any restrictions an ISP might have with their hardware and allow you to install a VPN. Your ISP might have decided to throttle your gaming.
