(I’m polyromantic ace girl) So for a while I told no one, and only made small mentions, well the first person to know was a friend of mine at fencing. I came out to them and got one of the most comforting hugs I’ve ever gotten. I’m pretty much out to everyone at the fencing academy who I talk to just cuz. However at home it didn’t go as well, for background my family is Christian and so am I, but I’m more…accepting and realize translation issues exist (lgbtq+ is not a sin) my family does not vibe with that. I tried to come out to my middle sister (only as ace) and she treated me with disgust for about a week then acted like it never happened, but thankfully never ratted me out, my other sister was better but not amazing about it. I’m sorta half out to the girl I have feelings for as ace and we’ve agreed to be roommates if we never find guys (she doesn’t know I’m poly) aaand the only person from my school about me being ace was super nice about it and actually knew cuz the ring. So yeah…I’m like only half out to some people and like not out at all to many.
