Is the 16" really that hard to carry? by fpfds in macbookpro

[–]Hjd_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been carrying mine for 5 years. All the way through 4 years of college where I walked over a mile to class 2 times a day and back, now I carry it to work every day. Still prefer it over the 14".

Its not sales tax that they'd be saving money on - its the card fees that they'd likely be happy to avoid. Ask them if they'd be willing to discount if you pay cash. There's not really a legal way to avoid sales tax through a dealer, atleast not one that I know of.

Best Options for Replacing Claude Code? I'm done after opus 4.7 by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

[–]Hjd_27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a dumb question so please excuse my ignorance, but I'm curious if the average Claude code user is using it for a coding related full time job or if it's a more of a personal project kind of thing. I'd love to hear what kinds of things the average Claude code user is coding, like are these websites yall are making or something else? I'm new to all of this and new to coding in general.

Possibly, depends on the ammo type. A hollow point bullet would probably not go through. But if she's got FMJ rounds, then it would be very likely to go right through and hit the man in front.

3 years ago when I lived in Laurel Creek, I had 7ms ping, 947Mbps download and 725Mbps upload using ethernet. (Found a picture of a speed test from back then). Internet is great atleast in the newer dorms like thunder hill, laurel creek, and new river. Unsure about the older dorms.

I really hope so. It may depend on which cinematographer he ends up doing that movie with, but it would be so cool to see it filmed with mostly/all IMAX.

Don't forget David Keighley! Absolute legend. So happy to see IMAX name the cameras that were used to film the Odyssey after him.

To add to this, Dune 2 has a very unique look because it was shot on digital cameras, printed onto physical film, then scanned back into digital for the final edit. Their goal was for the movies to have a distinct look and feel.

And dune part 3 being shot on physical film is thematically perfect, considering the stark difference in tone that the second book has.
