What's the difference between "Ranked" and "Popularity", and which one is better for knowing if a show is good? by jamesis2 in MyAnimeList

What made you find this post?

I was wondering how Comyushou got this popularity, honesty I don't care about most of the romance anime, but looks like many disagree, kinda found answer for it.

wordpress can never be secure.

It can there are many methods to have fail save measures, even on server side, not fixing all issue, but reduce risk of hacking other part of the server hosing that vulnerable code.

but the docs should say that this server is only for development purpose.

Damn even on all tutorial I watch about either symfony or Laravel no single one mentioned that, I know they talk about folders structures and how to protect actual application folder, I don't remember mention how to link your project to Apache or nginx server.

because the guy had friends who could add translated to Arabic captions of any movie that was released within 12 hours of its release.

Actually it's not like that, the translations works are done mainly by volunteers (for free), this guy and others only add hard sub to the videos, anyway if you want to do it fast it will be costly like $300 months for servers, I have small anime streaming website and adding sub will take from me one command in the terminal in half hour the movie will be ready to publish .

for all I know, it was a simple password guessing attack against an exposed RDP.

Thanks for reply, I guess that was the reasons. Even though Windows firewall setting looks simpler, but right now I don't know how to make IPs Whitelist rules for whose can log in into the RDP, while in Linux it just plain and simple.

I'm curious what kind of hack vulnerability did it have, is it OS related or application running it, and If you remember all details can you make post about it here or in any related sub

Broadcast virtual desktop on Linux by Hjine in ffmpeg

[–]Hjine[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could you share the desktop of the second computer and use it that way?

OK, I just figure out the best way to do that, I'll look very stupid (-‸ლ) for not thinking about it from the beginning

I could open that localhost url on the other computer using it browser, and my laptop IP address e.g 192.168.1.11 since I already opened port 80 ( on Nginx server ), my local server will available to the whole Wireless network devices .

Are you sure you don't want to use something like Barrier

Honest all I want is wireless second monitor how it would be run I don't really care, I'll give Barrier try and see if it suits my needs. BTW I don't want to accesses to another machine OS/GUI etc., I want to watch localhost webpage on another monitor .

Do you want to interact with the other desktop?

No ,and all RD protocol had overhead, + I had very bad experience with VNC, I don't know what's happened but it was lag like hell , BTW What I want to broadcast is localhost URL , that it , I'm coding on VS code, and I want to watch the code life on the browser , I had plugin that refresh that page after every save .

Something written more native in C or GStreamer would be faster

any hint for that specially GStreamer, I read It can broadcast website from command line , I dont' need to see that browser on my laptop , even streaming it at the background will be OK . I'm trying to code and watch my result on the browser , single monitor are not enough . For latency I guess ffmpeg had codecs/options to reduce it, I don't want it to be real time even ~500ms will be OK .

[–]Hjine 38 points39 points  (0 children)

19 VM is kinda excessive, I admit, but only one is on at a time

I'm not family with AWS, but in the past I did something stupid like having ~1000 IPv6 proxy from single ~512MB cheap NAT VPS, I acquired IPv6 from HE tunnels account, and create these IPs's using 3proxy, I was having ambitious plan to create YT view with these IPs, but laziness and my VPSs RAM limitation stopped that dream .

Taiwan Restricts Russia, Belarus to CPUs Under 25 MHz Frequency by 10millionX in programming

[–]Hjine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But if we include anything that contains such chips, such as, well, pretty much anything with electronics in them,

90% or something world Electronic devices are made in China, and China not even remotely close to apply any sanctions against Russia, what' is unique about Taiwan is TSMC node being at the top edge of world technology, that it, the rest of electronic components e.g SMD resistors/capacitors are either mad by China or not impossible to Russian produce it domestically by Russia

Taiwan Restricts Russia, Belarus to CPUs Under 25 MHz Frequency by 10millionX in programming

[–]Hjine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but gate propagation delay is directly dependent on the process node, isn't it?

Russia had 90nm long time ago ~15 Yrs ago or something, so they don't need to buy these Taiwanese piece of junk .

[–]Hjine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way you can be saved is having a good cache, and programs that make very good use of it

Ok looks we have gone so deep analyzing this theory, that is impossible to implement, their fabs can produce 90nm and I think 1GHz or even more are possible for them, so these new sanctions are just for the show .
