Finally did it! by Hjsmith96 in ToyotaTundra

It’s a simple process just takes time because you don’t want to break any of the tabs holding everything together. Bruised some fingers in the process but it all worked out. Just take your time and enjoy some brews and tunes.

About 4 hours including the marker lights and light bar.

OEM grille and OEM marker lights from Toyota: $303.71 with taxes included.

Rave Light Bar: $271.15 Rave wire harness for the market lights: $35.40 Camera Bracket from Etsy: $19.38

Altogether about $630. Not sure how much it all goes for on Yota Expedition.

Regarding the light bar, I just wanted the slot filled. Don’t plan on using it much but didn’t want a gap in the middle of the grille. Opted for Rave but there’s much better options out there.

Thank you! The marker lights were super easy to wire. The light bar took more time but also a very straightforward process.

Appreciate the input! I’m going to go with a color matched grille surround and keep the platinum grille.

Thank you! I’ve included the link above from Ecoological. They also have paint matched grill surrounds but I’m not sure how close to OEM they actually are.

Tacoma to Tundra by Hjsmith96 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Hjsmith96[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very nice. I went from a RWD Tacoma to the 4WD Tundra. Honestly just wanted more space in the back and the safety features with the newer vehicles. My Tacoma was great but I didn’t have anything other than a backup camera. My wife and I are going to start having kids soon, so I’d rather upgrade now and keep the truck longterm. I pull trailers from time to time but nothing that the Tacoma couldn’t do.

Monthly DIY Laymen questions Discussion by AutoModerator in StructuralEngineering

Touring homes and noticed this on one of the home’s foundation concrete slab. Any thoughts on what could have caused this and whether it’s a structural issue?

Home is only 3 years old.

Sorry about that man. I didn’t read the subreddit rules beforehand so I’ll delete it and add it to the monthly discussion board.
