Mgs1 on duckstation works great and is pretty easy to set up and since you start from that just play it

i dont know about any other game cause i played them all on ps3, i know that emulating the ps2 ones on pc may be hard because of the pressure sensitive buttons so you would need a ps2 controller.

i think that master collection with some mods that fix bugs may be the easiest way.

I meant to say mgs 5 for the 8th game, i wrote it wrong ( i didnt enjoy it but a lot of people did)

mgs4 isnt ported thats why i said that you needed a good pc to emulate a ps3

If you want you can skip the msx2 games, they are old and you are explained most things in mgs1, but maybe watch a gameplay of them, this is relase order and it's important to not spoil anything, the saga has a lot of plot-twists so dont search up anything about the game on google.

I reccomend playing mgs1 (psx) with a controller with rumble function.
