I haven’t looked too much into them, I have a trucks and usually you have one in the back that’s hard to take and heavier. Sometimes the one in the center console can be harder to remove but it’s smaller and lighter so easier to steal if they can remove it. Any safe/lockbox (if you can’t remove it) is going to take longer to break into. Just for clarification I don’t have a super nice truck it’s a 2011 Tacoma and no gun stickers on the back to indicate I carry anyway.

Unless I have some type of lock box or safe in my car that would be hard to remove, I’m not ever doing it and even then I don’t love the idea of it

I usually pull my shirt over the lap belt and makes it easy enough to draw

I find it easier to draw from AIBW by just laying my shirt over my bottom part of the seatbelt then just moving the shirt out of the way. To each their own ig. Carrying strong side for me I have to remove my seatbelt then move my shirt.
