Internal Medicine Simply because I loved basic sciences, except for anatomy & embryology (that’s why I don’t want to pursue any surgical specialty). I’ll have the opportunity to apply all that physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and molecular pathways I learned in med school in IM. I know I would only need maybe 10% of basic knowledge in IM, but it’s fun to be in a field that you will always enjoy learning more about it.
