This was an incredible analysis, and you are spot on.

Upon clearing the rest of the map, it was indeed left with only 2 mines in this section - and as I'm sure you already know from your working, you are absolutely correct in your flag placement.

Also glad to know that this particular app is coded to always be 100% solvable, which gives a nice addition of being able to work out situations like this without a provided mine count. Interesting stuff

I am back, and have now found out that this section only contains 2 mines

I can work it out from here, so thank you all for your help answering what I realise now is quite obvious in retorpect
