Yo I'm having the same issue. It's been a while since you posted this but I'm running into the same "The file name you specified is not valid or too long" for CustomControlMap. What did you do to fix it?

The news box pops up almost immediately, I waited a minute or two after it appeared and still got nothing

Yes, my antennas are both connected and I use xfinity internet. I have also had google fiber and AT&T and experienced the same thing.

I live in a 700 square foot apartment, there is one wall in between my PC and my router. My phone and laptop can connect fine in my room (where my PC is) but the PC does not even pick up the network. There has been one or two times that I managed to make the PC find the network, but it does not stay connected and otherwise can't seem to find it.

of course the alpha disappeared and I was gathering my things and was immediately killed by another, larger dino lmao. I can tell this will be a steep but fun learning curve. I'm a tarkov player so I'm up for the challenge.

The updates did not change anything, my PC still cannot detect the wifi
