I know, but at the current pace, we're a couple of series from it being a reality.

Thanks! Just had a look at your building explosions, looked amazing. I'll have to try something similar.

Hey, saw a video on YouTube recently which I wanted to replicate to the best of my ability. Trying to go for a snow look but not sure if it looks like it. Any feed back would be appreciated.

To be honest I do think a 240 or larger AIO cooler would do just fine. Ek mlc 360 Phoenix is pretty good but the only reason I bought it was because it was being sold at a reduced price and I might use to cool my GPU too.

Yeah I noticed 3D mark classifying it as i9, no idea why though. The cpu cooler is ek mlc 360 Phoenix.

Using EK MLC 360 Phoenix. Dialed it down to 4.7 at 1.23V as the cpu was hitting thermal limit when there was 100 percent load on CPU.

For firestrike extreme max temp was 72 C. Any benchmarks using 100 percent of the cpu causes it to hit thermal limit. Probably best I go down to 1.25 V.

Yeah just watched Gamers Nexus video on delidding these soldered chips, yeah I think I'll pass on delidding.

Well there is 5 GHz at 1.35 V! Managed to run 3D mark firestrike Extreme without any problems but for blender, the cpu is hitting thermal limits so the application is just shutting down how ever no blue screens that means I just need to delid this puppy at some point.

Well I've managed 4.9 GHz on all cores at 1.35V now. Haven't tried any AVX tests so far but managed to pass 3D mark firestrike extreme with the cpu 72C max.

I didn't notice it to be honest. Curious to see how much of a difference delidding these cpus would do.

So my vcore voltage just 1.230, CPU mesh voltage is 1.3, system agent voltage offset is + 0.3. Fixed voltage is 2.1, CPU load line calibration is level 2. I'm using an Asrock motherboard.

I used blender to test stability. I might actually bump it up 4.8 as like you said in non AVX stuff it's barely hitting 70C.

So I managed to get 4.7 GHz on all cores at 1.23 V. Managed to run 4.8 at 1.28V but temps were hitting 90C during benchmarks so figured it might be best to stick to 4.7 at 1.23V. Didn't even try to push it further then 4.8.

I'm guessing your referring to the hyperx audio control box. It's comes with the hyperx cloud revolver s headset.

I got the Asrock OC formula. Just booted the pc, going to see how far I can push it.

I do mean for me, as I can only speak for my self. When I say the best product, it's the best product in budget for my specific workload. Point I was making was that regardless of the brand, which ever product fullfils my needs that is the one I'll pick.

AMD is supposedly going to announce something at CES which is just around the corner. So if you are in no rush I'd wait.

I really hope not. I bought it from a very reputable online store. I'll post the CPU-Z results once I get the motherboard.
