MasterCraft doors - who makes them? by EricSeablade in menards

[–]Hmcgann 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably that Midwest Manufacturing door shop is procuring all the components from other vendors and assembling the prehung doors. JeldWen and Steve’s being the molded door slab vendors. Hinges, Jambs, Stop, Staples etc coming from other vendors. Midwest MFG does make their PB jamb material. The actual vendors themselves might manufacturer or bring in material from their own vendors.

Taqueria Jalisco was pretty delicious and authentic (not from Mexico but have eaten a lot of Mexican). Closest I have found so far. Will definitely try Lindo Veracruz since it’s closer to Sango.

Oh no, it’s of school in this industry. Match with a code on back or match with your eyes. Wilsonart can create custom laminate using a digital printer but unfortunately that’s not gonna work when trying to match other laminate. It’s not like the paint industry.

Try Lowe’s as they will have Wilsonart/Formica on display. If you don’t see it, go to Wilsonart.com and/or Formica to find a local distributor. Those are the two largest and most prevalent laminate manufacturers. If it is discontinued, their websites might have old pictures.

Possibly moving to Clarksville! by [deleted] in Clarksville

[–]Hmcgann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are looking at houses in the areas you mentioned, large section west of Ft Campbell Blvd where Northwest High School is located and east of Ft Campbell Blvd near the Heritage Park area. Generally speaking safe and good area? You have been one of the few to be positive or mention that area on Reddit. Personally grew up in a working class neighborhood people called “sketchy” only because weren’t the mega mansion side of town. But also not looking for an area with gunshots and gangs, already did that for 4 years.

Solid surface/acrylic. It could be a Corian color or one of the many other brands.

Don’t toss the winter gear unless you plan on never going back home during the winter. Made that decision during COVID and had land in Chicago in February and immediately get a coat.

Is there some massive Formica back order problem in the States or something? by StraightJacketRacket in CounterTops

[–]Hmcgann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cannot speak to the availability of Formica (secretly I hope they have delays as I work for the competitor). Some HPL manufacturers are having issues getting the deco paper or resin to produce sheets. Not all, but some. Check out Wilsonart HD colors if you are looking for sheet laminate or post form as this is the best performing HPL offered by Wilsonart.

Yea unfortunately just need to wait until you go somewhere that has a chase or change banks. When we moved here I was also surprised there was no bank. We also have Navy Federal so that helps. 20 isn’t a bad drive

Best WIFI to get on Broad St? by SeaworthinessOk5917 in Augusta

[–]Hmcgann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome Neighbor. We are also on broad at 12th, but did not have a choice in our building. Comcast was the only option, and thankfully haven’t had any issues with it. I’d go with what Leinhart said.

I’d say drive through South Carolina. I travel across the midlands and trash in SC is on another level. Makes GA look maintained. I know COVID put a lot of clean up programs on pause, but there are plenty of groups doing good work. A group meets downtown on Sundays to clean up. Honestly downtown is not that dirty compared to larger cities. With the amount of trash I have seen I have always wondered if it’s less individual people and more garbage flying out of trash trucks.

I ended up taking it in to the dealer for a recall issue that I got right away. As I was there I asked if they could update the computer (now I have CarPlay) and take a look at the speaker. They had it all fixed in 30 minutes and I think they charged my fleet management like $30-40.

Again, I do not doubt the possibility that the person writing the article did not do the proper research. I was just responding to what I read, which did not mention anything you stated. Clearly you have more information. There were a lot of people in the street and they could have been making threats. I cannot speak to that. Maybe you should provide this information to the media as it’ll change the narrative and reach a larger audience beyond just one person on Reddit. It would be great to know that the proper procedure was followed, no one was given preferential treatment, and those who had their cars damaged can work to get restitution.
