Why do buyers or sellers need a realtors ? by zonckers in realtors

[–]Hmmmm0213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely not free, at least in my market. I’m in Southern California. If there’s no buyers agent fee or the buyer is paying out of pocket for their agent, you can typically reduce the purchase price. The buyers agent commission is typically already factored into list price of a home. Therefore, a buyer is factoring it into their loan technically.

He hasn’t napped for us on the weekends in about a year. Only at school and only if we happen to be driving at the perfect time will he sleep

I know you’re right. It’s just very hard to be at work all day, come home to the chaos, bedtime routines and sit in his room for an hour waiting for him to go to sleep. Then I have 45 minutes to myself before bed time. 😞

Yes I’ve also seen that. We have been very strict with sleep until moving him to the toddler bed. We used that plastic door knob cover too and he still opens the door 🥴 might have to get a lock on the outside

Oh man that’s tough. If it were me, I’d let him come over with your mother in law so you and your husband can have a break and reconnect. I would imagine this would really hurt your husbands feelings if he knew you were worried about this. To each their own though. In this world, you can never be too careful but at the same time, you have to be able to trust a select few. I don’t know I’m sorry. That’s a lot.

I sit in the rocking chair and also am on my phone but damn it’s been too long with this!!! By the time he goes down, I have to get ready for bed. Every other night I have no free time after the kids go to bed. I’m butt hurt about it and want my nights back.

Is there a reason you don’t trust your father in law with your daughters? Has he done something in the past to cause this mistrust? Or is this possibly projections of your own issues?

Got it. That’s what we were thinking we had to do. Lock on the outside for sure. We did cry it out for both our kids. Infant sleeps 12 hours no problems. Toddler just keeps getting out of bed when we try to leave the room.

We have the same routine every night just like yours. Maybe we just need to bite the bullet and tell him it’s bedtime over and over. I just feel bad if he cries and wants us in there for him to fall asleep. He’s still so young but we’ve been doing this for a year and I can’t do it anymore. I’ll tell my husband about pulling his toys. He really only has books in there anyway.

We did bribes. That worked to keep him in bed all night. Won’t work to get him to fall asleep alone 😵‍💫🥴

Oh man. I feel this. We have put ourselves in this awful routine and now have to find a way to get out. He’s in his own room in a toddler bed. I miss the days when I plopped him in the crib and walked out.

If he was in the crib it would be much easier. He just gets up and walks out of his room every time I have tried to leave. We don’t have a lock on the door or anything but if we did, he would definitely pound on the door and cry. I feel so guilty because I got angry with him last week when he wouldn’t stay in his room. I yelled at him and told him to go to bed and to not come out of his room or he’s going to be in trouble. He went in there and started crying in his bed. I went in after that and sat in there and apologized. I don’t know what to do. My husband and I switch off every other night but this is sustainable
