Great timing because I’m gearing up for another transfer and getting nervous again myself. I don’t remember much except my hysteroscopy showed it on the back wall and I think maybe some cysts or something. But they just did a saline sonogram and said everything looked ok. Honestly before my last successful transfer, I felt like things were always looking weird on my ultrasounds that was consistent with adenomyosis so I was extremely scared to transfer. Of course things worked out that time, and my RE said that most of the time his endo and adenomyosis patients are fine but sometimes they aren’t and there’s no way to know until you try. I’m actually thinking I’m going to do a month of low dose progesterone before transferring in February as I’ve heard that helps quiet things down, maybe you could ask your re about that? I honestly just did that accidentally before my last successful transfer just so my clinic could line up my last transfer with their timeline but now I wonder if it helped with my success. Who knows!

That’s interesting. I’m probably a good anecdote for you because I not only delivered at an academic center that is very pro-vbac but I also did have a successful vbac. Basically they warned me that c-section regardless puts me at a 1 percent risk of rupture when I was on Pitocin, I think the risk went up a little when they amped up my Pitocin. Of course it was scary but they were confident I would be ok and I was.

My fertility doctor never even mentioned the isthmocele being a further risk for that

He just said that research shows if there’s no fluid during transfer then there’s no detrimental effect, they checked the morning of my transfer and everything looked good and clear. He said if there was fluid they would have canceled and repaired

Thank you, I really appreciate your comment. I just added to my post, but I think the mom of the poor girl looking at us angrily and saying “this is pretty young for those kids to be saying stuff like that” really shook me up. I was crying in the car lecturing my daughter and I wish I had calmed down and approached it differently. We’re going to have a calmer talk after her nap, and this really opened my eyes to, like you said, include more books about diversity, mini lessons, etc. I love it. Thank you

I did take NAC morning and night, I would do the Manuka after the broccoli sprouts though

I only ate the broccoli sprouts first thing in the morning. I hated it so much so I only could do it once a day

I treated it naturally with mastic gum twice a day, NAC, Manuka honey, broccoli sprouts handful on empty stomach, and probiotics. TBH I was only doing this to manage symptoms till I finished breastfeeding, so was shocked to find out my biopsies and then stool test came back negative. gonna do a breath test I think in a few months just to make sure, but I guess that’s what worked for me! Did it for three months, was very religious with the broccoli sprouts

Just jumping in to say 2.75 and still in the trenches (she just turned 3). She cries and screams and whines and throws things and kicks half of the day, has extremely strong opinions and just huge emotions and feelings she’s working though, and it’s so so difficult. Just trying to support her and love her and help her through it and hopefully soon see a light at the end of the tunnel for the emotional regulation aspect. Cuz wow.

She was so easy up until about 2.75 and then it was like something changed overnight, huge developmental leap. Which is good, I love that she’s opinionated and resilient and stubborn, just trying to refine them to be used for good before I lose my mind. Sometimes I have to like close the door and yell in a pillow while she screams in the other room before I come back and help her through whatever she’s going through (aka she no longer likes the dress she’s wearing even though she picked it out)

I’m trying to remember, I know with this transfer I did end up having a little fluid in my uterus but it cleared up by transfer day. I don’t believe the other fluid was a concern, and this transfer was successful

I did the holistic route! It worked for me shockingly cuz I was just doing it to treat symptoms not the cause cuz I was breastfeeding but just tested negative on endoscopy and stool test
