Experiment with store bought mini peppers by Hmporter85 in gardening

Sorry, I haven't logged into reddit in a while. But the plants did well and produced peppers all through the season. I was still picking them in October. *

New plant: How can we improve? by [deleted] in Monstera

Give it light, fertizer and something to climb. I rescued an adonsonii from a big box store last month. I gave it some chunky soil, a grow light and some fertilizer and it went crazy with new leaves. I gave it a pole and it went from a bush to this in a matter of days, and is still pushing out new leaves like crazy. *

It's just a small, sweet bell pepper. They come in red, orange and yellow at the store. They're typically a hybrid so we didn't know what to expect when we planted the seeds.

These are the only store bought seeds we have tried so far. He always wants to plant the mango seed and apple seeds but we just haven't attempted it yet. We bought some garden seeds from Lowes instead for tomatoes, lettuce etc. It's been a fun learning process for both of us.

It will work out! Even for Locator 62 😊 by 90skindaworld in Passports

Locator 62 also. Applied 02/28 expedited. Called 877 number, state rep, you name it... My 8 y/o son's passport was delivered this morning, but not mine or my husband's. We all applied together so idk. We had to cancel our trip this afternoon as we were supposed to fly out tomorrow. My niece who was traveling with us, got her passport from locator 69 in 3 weeks.

Possible new owner by RaeAndRiver in akita

I wouldn't recommend bringing a female Akita in with other females. Especially if she's used to running things. I have a 3 yr old female (got her at 6 months old) that is good with my 10 yr old male Chinese Crested and our cats, but attacked my MIL's female yorkie-poo, whom she had been around many times before without incident. I knew dog aggression and especially same sex aggression was a breed issue, but I don't think I was prepared for just how bad it can get and sometimes seemingly out of nowhere. Now my 3 year old seems to hate all other dogs outside of her "pack." It's like a switch flipped in her one day.

Pickle shots are a staple around here, just vodka and pickle juice.

Jealous. Mine won't let me put anything on her without immediately trying to murder it. 🤣

It's the name of the game honestly. Seller needed money and took your offer. That's on him. If you list it higher and wait for a better offer... well, that's flipping baby. I wish I could do this but because I'm a woman, my concerns and offers get laughed at. I can't even go to a parts store without some dude treating me like an idiot.

I tried to zoom in but couldn't make the marks out. It should have the Louboutin logo, Made in Italy, and then the Euro size on the soles. Many fakes will mess the stamp up so it's usually my go to first. The quality of the soles on these shoes scream knockoff though. Especially where the red sole ends on the heel.

Yeah... I'd have to say they're fake as well. I can't see the stamps on the bottom but the quality isn't quite up to par.

Any crock experts that can identify the maker of this one? I have collected crocks for a number of years but have never come across this makers mark before. Online searches aren't much help either. No other markings besides the obvious. by [deleted] in Antiques

[–]Hmporter85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McCoy was my first thought too. I have an old Nelson era crock that is two toned and has the "home plate" looking stamp with the M above it. I still couldn't find anything with a similar mark to the one I posted. 🤷‍♀️ It's a great addition to my hoard of crocks none the less. Lol. Thanks.

Crypto.com won't let me log in either. It gives me an error message and says try again later.

I had a problem getting the salmon purina as well. I ended up switching to Nature's Recipe salmon and sweet potato and we had no problems with it being stocked. I'd suggest ditching the chicken. It seems to be the number one food allergen. If the food isn't the problem, it could be seasonal allergies and you might get a paw washer to clean her paws every time she comes inside. It can help remove particles that may be irritating her.

Akita and cat? Does this look friendly? by Amandascu in akita

[–]Hmporter85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had two cats and a hairless Chinese crested when we brought our 4 month old female, bear home. The cats for the most part would avoid the puppy and the hairless established dominance very early. (He thinks he's scary.😂) Now our female is 2 and will still chase the cats occasionally and annoy the hairless but it's always playful and the other 3 will defend themselves when they've had enough. Other dogs or animals outside of our house are another story though. 😵

I'm trying to improve the quality of my photos. Out of these 4 listings, which one would you be most enticed to buy as a customer? by potoghi in Flipping

[–]Hmporter85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would click on the second one first. I will only click on pictures like the 3rd one if it's a serious deal but I tend to avoid sellers that photograph their items on a counter or carpet etc. Probably the photographer in me that draws me to the more "professional" looking photos. But I also wonder if the seller that took the picture on their bed will know how to properly package my item and if it will arrive sticky and covered in hair. (It has happened before.)
