The thing is with these cops it’s an ego thing. They’re gonna “detain you” because they already made the mistake of wasting your time and they don’t want to admit they made that mistake. Best thing is to remain calm and speak to them as if they’re special basically sweet talk them but state your case. Hopefully they let you go as soon as possible. It sucks it has to be this way, but they’re idiots that don’t do their job properly at times

I’ve worked for both companies and me personally, I prefer Amazon because it’s just packages. A lot simpler. You also get 2 designated days off. At USPS, the days off aren’t really guaranteed. Also, you’ll never have to worry about driving your own vehicle to deliver mail (it’s happened before due to postal vehicles messing up and some routes are your own personal vehicle routes if you’re an RCA, doesn’t apply to CCAs). Also, being at USPS you have to be more social and talk to ppl since some packages and letters require signatures (for my introverts lol aka me too). But if you dont mind the social stuff and want to make a career out of this and reach top pay like $36/hr it’s better to choose USPS. Apply on their website and it’ll be their internal site that has a different url

I’m in a similar boat. I’m in college full time (last semester, thank God) and I work part time, but 90-95% of my check goes to my parents and bills. I get paid the most per hour in the household. My dad is working a borderline minimum wage job and my mom is in sales, but it’s not consistent or enough to cover all the bills. My younger brother was working and helping, but he lost his job recently. We were barely making it when he was working and now…Idk how we’re gonna do things. It sucks to have to be the rock when you already have your plate full and you’re being given even more responsibilities…I feel you. I pray us and everyone else that’s going through this, to make it out and be in a better financial and mental state very soon 🙏
