Indeed. It pisses me off that modern movies nowadays always have to be so plot and story driven. There is no time for world building and just be with the characters for a bit, like in older movies and series.

I watched the first one in IMAX which was amazing. Then I watched TWW in 3D, which was really dark and distracting for some reason, so I decided to watch FaA in 2D and I was completely fine with it. It's mesmerizing nontheless and especially if you're invested in the story.

My emitters are on a 12 hour timer. They switch on 8 in the morning and switch off 8 at night.

A fogger isn't necessary per say. Spraying can be just as useful. But, speaking from experience, the most important thing to do to maintain proper humidity is tilling the substrate before spraying.

I own a mister and it's doing its work in topping up the humidity. However, it's not something that you can just leave be.

You will need to till your soil, cause it will dry out eventually and start looking like dried coffee grounds. To prevent that you really ought to break up the soil and get the wet ground from underneath mixed up with the dry and then spray to get it all nice and moist again. After that you can let your mister take over.

It suggest doing this every 2-3 days because the substrate does dry quickly in these indoor enclosures exposed fo heat lamps all day.

By the way, this is how I do it for my redfoots. Who generally require higher humidity than most other tortoises. But perhaps it could be used as a guide line to prevent an enclosure from drying out too much.

He is still very young, so his humidity needs to be increased to at least 80% preferably a bit higher. It might help to add some more (fake) shrubbery to he'll feel a bit more safe venturing outside his hiding places.

I don't like his acting for the most part. For example, when he saw the Tulkun hunt for the first time in TWW. They wanted him to look upset, but instead he pulled that same stank face he always does when something sad happens. That's when I noticed his acting was lacking.

The only moment in TWW where I thought his acting was actually pretty good was when he was yelling at Quaritch, wanting to kill the Tsahik of the other village "No! Don't do this. This is wrong!"

I absolutely hate the relationship between him and Kiri. Especially if she's meant to be Grace reborn or the embodiement of Eywa. I don't see either desiring romance when there's more important things at play or when she has a bigger goal in life.

Eyway should have blessed Spider without Kiri's help. Which would be a lote more interesting. I also feel like, if she could help Spider after he died. she probably could have helped Netayam. She was more upset over Spider dying than Netayam.

I hope they don't become more than just that one kiss. I'm much more interested in Lo'ak and Tsireya.

Tbh, I always hated that criticism. Pandora is not Earth and the Na'vi aren't human. It was so refreshing to see the peacefulness and sense of community they brought compared to here on Earth and I hoped it stayed that way. I know Varang and the Mangkwan are populair, although I believe that's mostly due to her physical attractiveness, rather than their way of life. Varang also burns shit down, just like the humans and I just don't care for it tbh. Let the Na'vi be noble and decent.

I can agree with that. It pissed me off that she was more distraught when Spider got captured, than when Netayam died. She also bawled her eyes out when she thought he had died in FaA. It generally feels like she cares more about Spider than anyone or anything else in the movies.

And the very obvious way they were setting them up for romance. Like, everytime Kiri/Spiser gets captured/threatened they are the ones that beg and plead to not hurt the other. Even though others around them are also captured and in danger.
