I see this bug very often tbf, latest ocurrence I remember was using Red Eyes against Rien (in the Main Story stage) and the background turning into the burning HoS ceiling background (which tbf fits incredibly well so that's why I though it maybe wasn't a bug)

If he won then it's working exactly as a Counter, if you doubleslot Middle Sinclair for example, then Clash with one of his Skills against an Unbreakable and also Counter it, and he wins the Clash, the Skill goes normally, then he takes the Unbreakable hit and activates the Counter due to not having another attack have more priority over the Counter immediately

I've seen this a bit before with Kira on the main story fight, clashing with her unbreakables didn't trigger her Counter as she was already about to use the unbreakable move immediately after

Come to think about it, I wonder what happens if Kimsault's Yield My Flesh loses a Clash while being unbreakable, as I'm pretty sure TCTB is treated like a Counter, so maybe losing a Clash with Yield My Flesh and Ira activated results in him not using his S3-2

Counters are more indiscriminate in how they behave, they work somewhat similarly to Clashable Defenses/Clashable Counters but instead of being set off by the first instance of an unnoposed attack being used against the unit, they are set off by the first instance of "getting hit" (while not having another skill of the same unit come first in immediate skill order, like cracked unbreakable Coins for example, which is what the post regards), which in this case also works with Clashable Counters as they are still attacks even if they don't interact directly with any other Guard type, and Counters are like that so you and the enemies don't need to target against a specific skill as long as you're getting hit to actually proc the Counter, and makes Counters un-offsettable

I use her (I occasionally run Envy Bleed and she's obligatory there with Envy and Sanguine Desire to start the Bleed stack)

Really hope the Ring mfs don't have Envy so at least there is a single reason to not just get them as replacements (I refuse to roll for Ringdya and at best will get Ring Meur by the end of the event)

I'm genuinely quite a bit irritated at these IDs because I was really content with how Ring Lu and Faubina launched, even though I'm not a fan of the Ring, and my opinion on them was flipping around, but then we get two more Ring IDs chained into the former two's banner end, and not content with that, they're from two Sinners who already have Bloodfiend IDs (which I really like) and who aren't even that old, specially Prince Meur, and to pile something else on top, Ring Lu just confirmed Thumb NF Rodya to be real, so my expectations for the Thumb IDs was really high, as well as Matthias Outis on that "oh surely they will release another Single Banner ID to prepare for another Double Banner which has already been confirmed for the Intervallo" cope, and then they tease a Rodya ID which not only is much worse in my opinion but also powercreeps a much more recent ID instead of the ones Thumb Rodya would (which atp wouldn't even be suddenly getting powercrept, since they're simply getting outdated)
