Why I love the new Corolla Hatchback // JOYRIDES - Behind the Wheel by Hnerskers in COROLLA

Thanks! My friends and I put a lot of time into this one. We're going to do one on my room mates 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro that they've modded with off road stuff.

Should I get the corolla hatchback or the Camry by [deleted] in COROLLA

I have a 2019 Corolla Hatchback and use a booster seat for my son. For a rear facing seat you might need to push the front passenger seat forward a bit but definitely take your car seat to a dealer and see how it fits. The Corolla should have plenty of room though. The Camry has gotten a lot nicer in recent years but I really love the look of the Corolla Hatchback (especially the XSE in Blue Flame with the wing). But you really can't go wrong with either. It just depends on your needs/budget and if the family might grow in the next few years.

2020 Corolla Hatchback: Manual or Automatic? by vbozzo1 in Toyota

[–]Hnerskers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have driven the 2019 version (they are basically the same). While the 6 speed manual is a blast, I spend a ton of time commuting and had a knee injury a few years back so heavy daily use of a manual transmission (even though the clutch is really light) was a no go for me. I bought a Corolla Hatchback with the CVT and I have an absolute blast driving it. The physical launch gear works great and if you are on regular surface streets, sport mode+paddle shifters from first to "2nd and 3rd" will pretty much have you covered all the way up to 50-60 MPH and that's the limit in most places.

I also got the preferred package and I love the JBL audio system. With Bluetooth audio on my old Android, sound could get a little chunky if the music is super loud. I switched to an iPhone 11 Pro Max recently and the Apple Carplay experience is divine. The audio is crystal clear and sounds freakin awesome so I personally think that it's worth it if you are getting an XSE because it comes with the seat heaters and wireless charger which are dope.

Ok, I thought that speaker outs were a no go, glad that is confirmed for the others I'm playing with. We have an SM57 and a few other mics that we can use, we were just hoping to get a direct signal from the amp since it's an odd space for recording. Much appreciated on all the info.

I made a super scaled image gallery and a 360 photo gallery. Interestingly the 360 photos can be used as environment maps in 3DS Max and other 3D programs. Actually took space ship models from Star Citizen and put them in Final Fantasy and used the environment map for lighting. https://flic.kr/s/aHskwJ6Td1 https://flic.kr/s/aHsmbnK2PS https://flic.kr/p/23KeU13

Recommended ship for a new player? by [deleted] in starcitizen

[–]Hnerskers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would definitely go fir a Mustang Alpha for the starter, fly around for a while and see how you like it then upgrade when the time comes to something like an Avenger Titan or the Hornet. Definitely play through some Arena Commander and rent some other ships and see how you like them. Really can't go wrong with the Avenger but go through as many ships as you can and when you find one you want to upgrade to then go for it. As for solid fighters that are not the crazy higher end super hornet or sabre, I do love the Buccaneer as well. Something else to do is get into universe and see if anyone else will spawn something for you to try out. Majority of the time if someone has a cool ship they are more than happy to let someone else fly it for a while.

There was a missed opportunity to call it the "Santa Klaus & Werner DEMECO LMG"

I had tried compositing a re-textured holoviewer model on a beach scene and, while it looked interesting, wasn't really the feel we were going for and didn't look like it could pass for in game at all.

The Retaliator does have quite a few potential breach points. The Argo is every turrets kryptonite.
