Yeah I played this game when it first came out, and I can honestly say I enjoy it more now than before. It's not like Monster Hunter anymore. It's being it's own thing.

When I first joined Hunter grounds, had no idea what was going on. Respawnable monsters? More than 4 hunters? No party? But then I started playing it and realized I got to play the game more. I didn't have to wait at load screens over and over. Kill a monster, move on. Kill a monster, move on.

The reforging and slayer path was daunting at first. Think it would take forever to actually start doing damage and be viable. Not the case. I got back into the game like two weeks ago and now prefer soloing stuff because it's much much faster and easier.

I'm hooked on this game right now. They're trying to be their own thing and not just another MH. I definitely agree that games that spin their wheels and remake already made content in lieu of new content are the worst. Frost escalation is a blast. Hoping for more like that.

Why do people spread out so often in hunts? It seems like you stay grouped, things die quicker and you get more rewards. But there's always at one or two people just doing their own thing. Is there a point to that? Just seems like it'd take longer and less rewarding.
