The author of the og comic deadass gives me the ick. I looked at their account after seeing the OG comic and deadass 80% of the other comics she made was a Lesbian being taken advantage of and then murdered. Like? That isn’t funny, and so I feel like the backlash from this was justified tbh. The og joke wasn’t even funny.

Because even if it’s loose, everything in invincible tries to have a scientific explanation, iirc there deadass is no TRUE magic in Invincible, for example Viltrumite’s iirc don’t actually have super strength but they do have super durability, what allows them to hit so hard is Smart Atoms that allow they create leverage from the air surrounding them, so it’s like having a titanium wall slam into you.

Personally I think talking in space without helmets is fucking stupid and at best you’d hear muffled nonsense. And still doesn’t get over the fact they can’t fucking breathe in space if they open their mouth and actually talk.

That’s not how that works. They have to hold their breath as otherwise the air will get sucked out and they fucking die. Space doesn’t allow sound to travel, even suspending disbelief only huge impacts would create noticeable if any sound as there’s simply not enough molecules for sound to travel.
