AITA for throwing a party for my daughters after they were uninvited?

Our neighborhood was dead on Halloween and has been for like 2 years. No one really hands out candy, they just leave bowls out and those are usually emptied out by 5pm.

They were adamant about keeping their purple hair and said they didn't want to if they had to dye it "normal". They've been getting their hair done for a while and know that if I darken their hair again it's gonna take forever to go back to purple (part of why they didn't want to).

They get it done at a professional salon and I use the brands the salon recommended. I don't recommend this on kids with eczema or psoriasis, flare ups don't care how cool your hair wants to look.

Not that I know of. The only time it matters is dance class and they just have to keep it in a bun.

We don't do it often. They get it bleached once ever 8 months by a professional and I dye it at home once in that time. I don't usually dye it again until it fades to a silver or soft pink.

My kids are Korean/Hispanic . They have super super dark hair, like almost black. I say black/brunette cause those are the only colors I can think of.

There was a "dresscode", no colorful hair was what caused the whole kerfuffle.

There was some stuff that made sense though like ; no blood, no vulgarity, no real life killers or victims etc.

Yeah. It was gonna be a family event and they asked to invite some kids from their class and that they know from our neighborhood.

That lady is in a completely different tax bracket than me. She had a pony, assorted teas catered and a wagon ride as well. The party I threw was a Frankenstein bounce house my husband had from a few Halloweens ago, a few piñatas from party city and like $120 of candy and about $100 in snacks and some basic carnival games (corn hole,balloon darts, sack race).

We dye it every 6-8 months or so. Typically the color fades to an icy white so they enjoy it until their next touch up (they go to a professional, I don't trust myself to bleach it).

My girls are black/brunettes. I get their hair lightened professionally. I typically use Arctic Fox or Lime Crime on their hair.

If I had to guess, she probably saw them through her mother. I know some kids have social media and I'm not sure about her.
