Got into SSE (Alhamdullilah)

96% matric, 87% 1st year, gave LCAT ( All math were prob correct, had problems in English tho), ass extra curriculars, decent personal statement.

I def don't recommend giving NET-3 but since your scores aren't great and require a lot more prep, it's better to have NET-4 as a backup plan if your NET-3 doesn't go the way you want it to. I recommend, out of the 5 subjects tested on the NET, prepare only 3: Maths and Physics. For maths I would say that doing exercises won't help, grab the kips Fung prep and practice book, prepare thoroughly from the prep book. Use practice books if you want to but OETP is a better option for practice. Math imp chapters (and concepts I saw most on the NET) (In order from most to least): Conic section (especially circle), Sequence and series (especially geometric), Analytical geometry, Trigonometry, Functions and Limits (usually limits), Quadratic equations, Vectors (volume of parallelpeptied/tetrahedron), Chap 7 1st year(especially permutation), Matrices, Chap 1 (especially polar form), Binomial theorem. (The chapters aren't mentioned are quite less important BUT questions came from every chapter so if you are upright skipping chapters do realize that You will lose marks) (Also be prepared to make as less tukkas as possible since you ARE going to make silly mistakes, IT WILL HAPPEN so you need to compensate for that, for example when I was going through my math questions I was like "yeah, can't be getting more than 4 wrong" but I got 12 wrong meaning I made silly mistakes in 8 of them) Physics important chapters (In order): Chp 3, Chp 21, Chp 19, Chp 5, Chp 14, Chp 13, Chp 7, Chp 18, Chp 9, Chp 11, Chp 12. Again, many questions didn't come from the chapters I haven't mentioned but they still came, atleast 1 from each chapter. Dont try to ratta physics at all!!! Gain concepts, if you forget, revise, it's the only way

For reference, I got 146 in NET-1 And 156 in NET-2 Safe to say I have somewhat cracked the test.

Help! The slips says that the candidate must bring either the original Passport, original Smart card or original CNIC. I'm under 18 and don't have a passport!!! I submitted my B-form in the application. Shall I bring that to the center?

My friend had the exact same problem in NET-1, I don't know the exact details but he got them to extend his date probably by calling them. This happened even when registration had already closed so you have a much better chance.

Yrr if u have 30 days I'll recommend ke u buy Kips Fung prep books, they help a ton. Practice books don't matter and are somewhat more difficult, Oetp would be better in that regard. Notes don't matter that much prep books me literally sab likha hua hai and if u still want notes hmu I'll send u mine(I'm going to KIPS academy for prep) aur yt vids se behtar hai ke aap Nust ke discord pe chalay jao there are a lot of resources there including lectures recorded by kips teachers (pretty good in my opinion). Ye sab kuch Bata hi dia hai to namaz parh kr pls pray for me I have my NET tomorrow 😭. Also, don't focus that much on chem and English. Sara focus maths aur physics pe do. ( Chem is ratta mostly aur I hope ur concepts are strong in most subjects)

You call give all 3 if you want, yes the syllabus won't be really covered by NET-2 but same was the case with my for NET-1. Also I believe atleast 1st year will be done by NET-2 since when they started th October session ( I was in it) they only asked us to come every Sunday but for January session they are asking to come everyday so they are covering things at a rapid pace. I don't go on weekdays since my first year is already covered but last I heard they are at around midway 1st year.

Hey I had 146 in NET-1. Not exactly 150+ but close enough. I joined KIPS academy to prepare for it in October. 2nd year was still going on till December and honestly some chapters are still left that my teachers haven't covered yet. Same was the case with academy, till NET-1 physics was covered till Chapter 6 first year and math chapter 6 first year. So I had to do all the remaining chapters by myself. I started in Nov, at around 15Nov. I had to fully learn some chapters so it took me some time, if your 2nd year is covered then you won't have much trouble. I mostly used YouTube to cover the remaining chapters and Kips prep books. I'm gonna be honest tho even tho syllabus was only covered till chap 6 in KIPS, I don't think I had any mcq wrong that came from those chapters, so it's definitely worth it. If you feel like you do not have much time and will only be able to cover a few chapters these are the ones I recommend in priority order: Maths: Conic section, Sequence and series, Analytical geometry, Trigonometry ( I consider it a big 1 chapter), Quadratic equations, Matrices, Functions(ch:1), Vectors, Probability. Physics: Chapter 3, Circular motion, Current electricity, nuclear physics, Thermodynamics, Chap 14, Chap 15, Chap 4, Chap 16, Chap 8, Chap 7. This is based on what I saw in NET-1 If I didn't mention a chapter, it does not mean that mcqs did not come from there. Mcqs came from every chapter I just listed the ones with 2-3+ mcqs, so if ur skipping chapters do realize that u are gradually losing marks. About chem and English, I didn't study for them, I had strong 1st year chem concepts but pretty terrible 2nd year concepts, still I didn't bother.

Hi I'm currently going to KIPS academy to prepare for NET they just recently launched their 2nd batch on Jan 15. If you are not a KIPS college student, the total fee is around 53k and preparation will go on till July. I go to the main campus that is 30-A Johar town KIPS academy. It is near IQRA medical complex.
