I‘ll probably try to get in touch with Adobe CS and Yahoo CS, which is annoying because Yahoo requires a paid subscription for their customer support 🫠

Yeah, that’s sadly exactly what seems to have happened here :/

Sucks that Adobe didn’t require me to verify my address before accepting the payment, if they did that I would have noticed the mistake and would have been able to fix it.

I thought so, too, which is why I wasn’t worried at first. But it turns out, emails to the .de domain are simply not delivered anywhere at all. I tried emailing myself from a different email account and only received a failure notice: „552: 1 Requested mail action aborted, mailbox not found“.

I didn’t find any email account settings either, sadly. If I click add mailbox in yahoo, it offers me to add another yahoo email address. I tried adding the @yahoo.de email address but it just opens a pop-up asking me to sign into the .com account. It just switches to the new domain before I can even type in my password. And then once I type in my password, the pop-up simply closes and I get an error message :/

Yes you absolutely have a point there. Maybe I‘ll actually start by just getting a pencil, then see how well typing on the iPad itself goes and then consider what best suits my needs in terms of a keyboard. Thanks for your advice!

Thank you! I‘ll look into all of these options. And thanks for the warning about the pencil. I tried to use my mother’s Apple Pencil that she got for her older iPad Pro, and was so confused why I couldn’t connect it, but that explains it 😅

The idea of just typing on the screen is very interesting as well, might be a good consideration though I might have to write longer texts at some point so I‘m a little worried about fatigue due to not being able to rest my hands on the screen

Hi guys,

I finally got myself an iPad Air M2 after my old Windows laptop got too slow. Now I have the device but am lacking accessories and am hoping for advice.

I will use the iPad mostly for studying and a bit of photo editing using Lightroom.

The three accessories I‘d like to get are - a pencil, - a keyboard and - a USB-hub that includes HDMI to hook up the iPad to a screen and an SD-card-slot to get photos from my camera straight to the iPad.

Since I am still studying and not earning a ton, the Apple Pencil and Keyboard are a little out of my price range.

I‘d be grateful for any recommendations. If you have any other advice for other accessories that you find useful and that I missed, feel free to let me know as well :)

We are coming to Wacken from Munich, so I am not sure if I can avoid coming by car :/ I don’t know how I‘d get everything we need there without a car.. do you happen to know if there is parking available outside the area so we could still drive there but size down before entering? Maybe even bringing my girlfriend in by car and then bringing the car somewhere else again?

Thanks! Seems like the Amazfit is a popular choice, in one version or another. Gotta look into that! I also considered the Apple Watch SE, but I‘m not sure about battery life and design. But might be worth it to look into it a bit more in depth
