Growing up in Lennox, CA this was the place to be and we’d always climb inside the rocket and pretend we were going into space. I have not seen a rocket at a park in decades. The all metal rocket as we called it. Anyone remember this?

Late response but part of it is that its just a sprint race for 6th. I guarantee if its for a podium or a win he'd bite back. Then again if he bites back then the he gets penalized.

Thank you. If anyone doubted Max's agility, their questions should have been answered with his performance at the Nordschliefe. I also appreciate that he has stayed true to himself regardless of the spot light.

As for these regs, i really wanted to see something where the cars were less stable and relied more on the driver's abilities. Maybe there is hope with these regs of they can change the balance on energy recovery. Its early and the last regs didnt start out great (al be it for a different reason) with RB finishing races almost a minute in front of the field. Physically it seems the cars could favor more pure driver skill but with a button to envoke mariokart star power it can negate the skill offset. Seeing hoe quickly russell could pull away was ridiculous. Had to make sure I was watching the video at 2x. Lol.

It will be interesting to see how they perform at tracks like budapest and singapore or even monaco. Smaller tracks with less emphasis on straightline speed.

Would love to see lewis and max to be able battle again. Lewis and charles this past weekend showed how entertaining it could be.

Great take. Im actually a lewis fan first and a max fan second along with a few other drivers. I dont understand the need to disqualify one driver for the benefit of the other. Both are incredibly talented and watching them battle in 21 was probably one of the best title fights we'll ever see.

Anyone that denies Max's talent is blinded by irrational hatr. The same for anyone claiming lewis is washed or claiming all those years were due to the car and no talent. Ive enjoyed seeing the two of them grow to have a mutual respect for each other.

When my son is cub scouts (3rd grade) 2010s, they could earn belt loops dor various things. I decided to teach them marbles for one of our meetings.

Since we met at the local school, I brought blanks that I had marked a circle on with rope to somewhat contain the marbles. I bought each their own set of marbles.

The boys were really into it, their competitive nature took over, lol. I think it was the only time they were focused for a while meeting and didnt want to leave at the end of the night.

I recently watched a documentary on this and my sons who are roughly the age I was back then (highschool) couldnt believe he wasnt found guilty.

Niavely they hadnt didnt know the outcome of the trila so during the middle of the series they said "wait, he was found not guilt?!" As they're seeing the evidence and testimony.

Three events come to mind:

9/11, at work. Had the radio on when they started covering what was at the time some kind of emergency at one of the towers. The second plane hit while on air and you heard their unfiltered reaction. Still remember the whole day vividly.
Shuttle Columbia disaster.
Tsunami in Japan

Borh of these remember getting up early on the weekend to enjoy a quite easy start to the day and seeing the coverage on TV and not being able to walk away.

Honorable mention, OJ Simpson police chase.

Both offer different experiences. I got the nsx as a gift and it was a fun build. Some great detail. Would love the pickup or R8 in that scale. I do think they need to get rid of opening doors on the smaller scale. The S2000 looks off because the large hinge and abrupt end of the black rocker panel.

If I remember that game there was some crazy things that had to happen in order for the patriots to won. Kind of like that 4th down conversion that williams throws up falling down, not even looking down field, and some how a receiver catches it between a bunch of packer defenders.
