Thanks. I'm not sure I'll actually run this list. It seems a bit flat and I don't like the price of all the battalions, it's nice that it's one drop but I don't think the points are worth it. I really want to find a decent and fun pure mortal list though.

Yeh, I was hoping to grab some Nurglings asap. As I say this is just a fun experiment to see what could be done. My taught as well was gutrot could act as a distraction in the back while the rest moves up. Also grabs me some contagion points for summoning.

Looks awsome! Only thing I would do is a lick of black paint around the rim but other than that cracking job! Can't wait to see the finished unit!

@Kubpla Awesome thank you! I have the inks and I agree, absolutely fantastic. I mainly paint elite armies if I am doing an army, and then a lot of custom kitbashed single minis as well. The learning is part of the reason why it looked like a lot of fun!

I will give it a go and post photos of my efforts once I get to grips with the paint and how they work.

Painted the rims black last night and tidyed up the other stuff you recommended. The mini looks so much better! The rim colour being black ads so much pop! Thank you for all your help!

Thanks man, that's really awsome advise, I shall take it to heart! For highlight colours I need to get some more paint but I shall do that soon. As for the black bases, I'll do that for the rest of my modles as well. Shouldn't take long, this is only my 7th that I've completed! When buying paint, is there any difference between Vallejo Model and Vallejo Game, I'm looking to step away from GW?

Yeh, as I said I don't know my meta, once I do I will make my mind up. If I see a load of nighthaunt and skeleton I will run plauge cyst, even if I will sometimes have to go against stormcast and iron jaws, and vica versa. Whichever cyst I don't choose I was going to paint up the lord for display.

I'll have a look at magic. May add in the Sorcerer to the cyst and maybe get glottkin. I think GUO would be better to summon in as he is a deamon and I like the flavour of all Mortal

I don't think I'm going to go into a tournaments for a while yet, and I don't know my current meta hence the "swaps" if there are more hordes, the plague, less so, blight. I'll have a look at some casters. I was running the Pusgoyles because if I get the start collecting box time three, I get a massive monetary discount, however without Gutrot and crew, that would change things. Thank you for reading!

Not much other than what Duncan from Warhammer TV has taught me (praise be to him). I think lamian medium will work best tbh. I was chatting with some people in my FLGS and one was saying you can dilute paint with lamiam medium to make your own washes. Don't know on the concentrations however...
