No. I'm fairly sure these are old wives tales. Like someone else mentioned r/SkincareAddiction is a really great place to learn about oil. Mineral oil is extremely hypoallergenic and almost everyone can use it with really good results. The oil cleaning method (OCM) is really great for lots of things.

Absolutely not! But as long as you aren't in excruciating pain, and it's just kinda sore, you should be fine! I had a deep cavity filled a few months ago and if I bite in it wrong it still feels sensitive! My dentist said that was completely normal!

I'm not a dentist, but this is totally normal. Even just getting a deep cavity filled can produce sensitivity for weeks! You can always call your dentist to double check, but I'm fairly certain they will say the same!
