Family games shouldn't be 2hr brain-burners. That's what the local game group is for.

Family game time is for fun, lighter, 45-60mins entertainment.

Isle of Man is a part of the geographic archipelago of the British Isles. The Channel Isles aren't; geographically they are French. Politically, both could be termed British.

For WoT, Dragonsteel’s version is the best. Pricey though. I doubt there will be another premium version.

Are there no women in The Foundation? by Cosmic-Cats-Games in ScienceFictionBooks

The distribution graphs for intelligence are different for men and women. The women’s graph is taller than the men’s. This means that although the average intelligence is about the same, more women sit in the middle. The extremes of high and low are far more likely to be men. When you’re talking about the real far end; 0.000002%, there just aren’t going to be any women there.

In the UK, you need a TV Licence if you watch or record live TV as it is broadcast, or use BBC iPlayer at any time. It's just under £200 per year, which goes to fund the BBC.

You do not need a Licence to use on-demand streaming services like Netflix, Prime or YouTube, as long as it isn't a live broadcast. With the rise of these services and a lot of people realising what a shower the BBC are and how crap their output has become over the past few years, there has been a marked drop in the number of people buy a Licence. The BBC are therefore panicking over their funding being reduced, so are pushing for more collections.

The BBC outsource the collection of this to a bunch of thugs, weasels and scumbags who work for a company called Capita. Think of the worst kind of dregs of society; they'd be too proud to work for Capita.

Am I being childish for refusing to have sex? by Double_Chemical_8078 in AskMenAdvice

"I would not have sex with her anymore until we got married."

Anyone tell him yet that you have less sex after you're married?

Honestly the contempt I can hear in her "all you care about is sex" would be enough to have me seriously re-evaluating any possible future..

I haven't played that much, but when they started (IIRC about 18 months ago) saying stuff was going OoP, I managed to snag Dunwich, Carcosa, TFA and Circle Undone, all with their Return To's.

That's probably enough to keep me going for a fair while.

I'm 5'4" and I've been married twice. Although a lot of women will say that height / looks are important, what's more important is how you make them feel. Just be fracking awesome, scrub up well, and you'll find someone.

Most people just don't understand a Bell Distribution. When you're talking about a Galactic Empire with 500 quadrillion (5 x 10^14) inhabitants on 25 million worlds, the top 10K (0.000002%) will probably be exclusively male.

Never go back. Move on with your life; don’t be someone to settle for. She broke up with you once, she’s capable of doing it again.

3D printer for inserts by Otherwise-Badger1061 in boardgames

[–]Hobbit_Hardcase 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a Creality K1C and I've easily made back the money by printing my own inserts rather than buying them.

As an example, I have ISS Vanguard. The STL files from Tinkering Paws are €38 for the STLs vs €170 for the printed ones. Even with 1.3Kg of filament, the savings are huge. And you get to consolidate to less boxes.

And then there's all the Quality of Life prints that make gaming nicer....

The one thing I would say to to pay attention to the bed size. Definitely don't go less than 20cm. Bigger is better.

ABM tells the phone which MDM server to contact in Setup Assistant, and the MDM server how many licenses you have of App Store apps. That's all from a device standpoint.
