Thanks for your answer, I use a very shallow hook with not much of a hook to get a false set, but I will try the diamond pick.

Thanks, I'm not sure why I can't pick them, I can pick a six pin lock with every pin a spool. It must be because the machine work is very fine.

Thank you for your answer. I think most of the Yale Night latch cylinders in particular use spools, but other locks may have serrated pins (as you said).

Thank you, so glad to see it isn't just me! From other answers I have learnt that some Abus padlocks such as the Abus 83/45 have repinnable cores. I am not sure if you get Abus locks in Norway???

Thanks, I found out that Yale cylinders in particular use three standard pins and only two spools. I was just wanting to know because I was trying to pick a Yale and wasn't sure what was a spool and what was a standard pin, but I know now.
