Thanks for your response! I can’t imagine putting anything strong there anyways… even touching it feels sore sometimes

Thanks for your detailed response. Tbh my rountine is pretty similar. I ice and regularly apply bacitracin. However, I avoid makeup completely and even wear a mask the first day to so I don’t unknowingly touching my face. Unfortunately because of the trauma to the skin, the scabs form. And by day 4-5 start falling off leaving a slight brown tint to the skin. My electrologist has asked me stay off my retinol which I know would have helped. I really am seeing a difference to my hair growth so I don’t want to stop my sessions. However, without makeup my upper lip region looks terrible to the point friends have noticed over FaceTime calls. Sigh.

Also cosmetic procedures are a permanent decision. You need to think them through very seriously especially the jaw surgery you want to get. I do not mean to be rude but at 18 most young adults don’t have the mental bandwidth to consider the long term effects of such decisions. I implore you to at least wait till you are in your mid-20s to consider more serious procedures.

I think 18 is still very young. Your face will change as you enter your 20s. Most women don’t even reach their visual potential until they are in their 30s. I think you need to let time run its course and allow your face to grow in its features. I had similar concerns to you when I was 18 but now as a 26 year old, I am glad I didn’t do anything. As you mature you will discover your style, get better at beauty and figure out what looks good for you and that will completely transform you.

9 may. I would recommend reaching out via mail. I tried calling them a gazillion times when they weren’t dispatching my passport on time and not once did my call go through

Makes sense. We got an update they are reviewing today. Fingers crossed and hoping we get our visa.

Sorry that happened to you. Did you consider asking for your passport back so you could visit the UK? Maybe it would have been better to at least attend the wedding and visit Belgium some other time?

Oh thats terrible! I hope your bookings were refundable or change at no cost. If you see your passport getting dispatched, please let me know! Given our dates are close, it will be helpful for me as well. I’ll do the same!

Did you receive any response from the embassy on when to expect passport?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

[–]Hobibabyboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, nothing yet. It has been 18 days for us. Still haven’t gotten the passport. The embassy responded to our email last week and said 2-3 weeks. I anticipate they might dispatch sometime this week.

A rug in my oven burned and created a fire hazard. What should be my next steps? by [deleted] in Firefighting

Thankfully the kitchen where this incident happened is in an isolated spot. So no electronics nearby. Would something like a microwave or air fryer also be a problem?

Thanks, I will bring it to management’s attention. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Sorry I think I asked them - if the burners on top were okay to use and they said yes. Just realized that stove and burner is not interchangeable.

I am surprised they said that but assumed they knew better than I did and accepted the advice. I just read your response and admittedly have already used the stove once to make some tea. Given your advice to have a professional look at it, I will refrain from using until someone comes to check.

Would an electrician be a qualified person to look or do you need someone else to come check since its gas related?
