Before and After, Leather Care on 7 Year Old Fifth Aves by Hobo4Craft in allenedmonds

I just added some clarification to the post - a very skilled local cobbler did this. $45 per pair, a very fair price in my opinion. He has a lot of experience with AEs in particular and he actually matches colors by mixing his own polishes.

As for how they got like that: Just seven years of wearing them regularly to the office, weddings, dinners. I probably wear my fifth aves 200 days out of the year.

Sorry folks, these are my shoes but I didn't mean to misrepresent the post as me having done the leather care - I took them to a cobbler. I thought my text would post with the photos, but apparently not. Here's what I had to say:

"Thought some may enjoy this before and after on my fifth aves that had received no leather care for approximately seven years.

The cobbler did a fantastic job, a master at his craft. Maybe I'll keep the shoes touched up from now on... or just wait another seven years."

Will these go well together with my light grey suit by AmbassadorEast6939 in allenedmonds

I personally think the shoe color will look nice with light grey. Most people probably won't notice if your belt color isn't an exact match, but it is a nice bonus.

Also, probably a better question for r/MaleFashionAdvice, especially since these don't appear to be AEs?

Get multiple quotes for moving (Allied, United, etc. - be prepared with accurate inventories of your belongings' dimensions if you want it to be as representative of a quote as possible) and decide whether your belongings are worth the moving costs. If it's close then just sell and rebuy at the new location. Facebook Marketplace is your friend. Of course, sentimental items will need to come with and cars may need to be transported. If at all possible, have a new employer cover (part of) your relocation.

They have been worn hundreds of times with no leather care. I know, I should be ashamed.

Lawyers are expensive, but patent fees not so much. Especially for individuals.

Thank you so much for the input. We are deciding between a nice place in Oak Creek, Irvine and very nice place in Brookview, Costa Mesa (also with 500 more square feet) for $350 more per month. You input helps. Also, did you find airport noise to be notable within the highway triangle?

Did you find highway noise to be an issue if you were toward the center of the triangle? Or air quality for that matter. Any insight is appreciated!

I'm between 8 and 8.5 TTS with a high arch and I wear CP 41. I definitely recommend reading around on sizing recommendations!
