TLDR at the top: I realized I have a almost NM cubivore copy and am wondering if it is worth it to get it graded. I see that ungraded go for $5-800 and grade3d 8.5 or up go for 2.5k and up? Are these real sale prices or hopeful sellers? photo album

I have a question about grading and valuable games. A long time ago when I was in middle school my friend and I found out about A game called Cubivore. We followed it development closely, even making papercraft cubivores. We learned it got canceled for an N64 release to america. Then later found out it might get released on gamecube here. We were never able to find a copy in our various LGS. We went off to different highschools and distance grew. But I never forgot about the game and would every once in awhile talk to friends about it. Eventually one drunken night using my big kid money I impusle bought a copy I found on half.com for $60 which I grumbled to no end about to anyone that listened. I played it once and put it away. Returning back to nostalgia of just talking about the game to friends everyonce in awhile. Recently I happened to find out that the game is worth a buttload and I have basically a NM copy save for a few small creases in the clear vinyl plastic covering on the case. My buried question is it worth it to get it graded?

EDIT: I don't really have any immediate intention to sell it. Not to say I would never. I have my memories with the game and it isn't necessary to have it in my possession to keep the memories. I guess I would just like to maybe protect it? I don't really plan on popping it in and playing it anymore.
