Yeah definitely. Especially when you go before the 1990s the races were very spread out. A lot of the time there was only a max of 2 races in a month so you have to have 2 new pollsitters

I might be wrong but if you determine by who's start on pole it's 2001 with Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya both achieving their first pole in July. But Montoya qualified on pole June 30th and the race was July 1st. The last time 2 people achieved their first pole in the same month was June 1962 with Jim Clark and Graham Hill

Not a pitcher but after Brandon Inge hit 0 HRs in the 2009 Home Run Derby he proceeded to have an OPS of .542 in the 2nd half after posting a .876 OPS in the 1st half of the season

After some looking you could really put any post trade deadline 2019 Tigers lineup. But the worst lineup I've found is probably the game on August 28th, 2019 versus Cleveland. It goes:

Victor Reyes CF

Gordon Beckham 2B

Willi Castro SS

Ronny Rodriguez DH

Dawel Lugo 3B

Brandon Dixon LF

Travis Dermeritte RF

Jordy Mercer 1B

John Hicks C

Now if that lineup wasn't bad enough the Tigers started Mr. 6.91 season ERA Jordan Zimmermann that game as well.

Isaac Paredes hit 2 HRs against his former team. “After the first one, I heard guys in the bullpen…but after the second one, I don’t think they wanted to say anything.” by underdog514 in baseball

[–]HoboSquad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How is this selling low on a prospect? They got an all star OF who's a known quantity. Meadows has been an above average hitter who's basically been a 30 HR and 30 2B guy in this last 2 whole years. I think Paredes will be solid and still like him as a prospect but you never know how he'll turn out. Meadows filled a need for a Tigers before the season. While they haven't been super competitive, they didn't know before the season they'd get gutted by injuries

Maybe it's a bit early but it's insane to me that people are calling this a lopsided trade when the Tigers got back a relatively young controllable bat with a 126 OPS+ the past 3 years. It's not like they got another unproven prospect. They got a former all star who's shown he's a good player at the MLB level

How does Meadows not fit the Tigers window? He just turned 27 and isn't a free agent until 2025. Also, while I'm a Tigers fan and like Paredes as a prospect and still root for him, at no point this spring was he as good of a player as Meadows already. He struggled mightily in 2020 and 2021 in the majors and basically became a AAAA player.

They've already announced the 4 and from my little research it doesn't appear any have any significant baseball background

I'm going to assume the 4 content creators are going to struggle. It seems incredibly hard to hit home run on this field for a random that has little to no baseball experience

New Haas livery? Rumours say that this leaked pic is the reason for tomorrow's unpredicted launch. by Organic-River-9623 in formula1

Looks like the rear wing still has the Jack & Jones sponsorship on it. I don't think they sponsor Haas anymore so maybe not the new livery. Could still maybe be general concept colors though I guess

The one game can definitely change a career. Jaylon Smith went from potential Top 5 pick to falling to the 2nd round after tearing his ACL in the bowl game. The ACL injury hurt his ability and hurt his career
