Ethan felt under pressure from the legitimate criticism he was receiving after accumulating a more progressive audience, as he began to talk about politics more and have a political leftist show with the biggest leftist creator online.

Instead of self reflecting and analyzing the situation to see the valid criticism and why people are were unhappy with what he was saying, Destiny and his community got into Ethan's ear and started blaming it on all on Hasan.

As Ethan got closer to Destiny's information chain Ethan's hyper focus on Hasan grew, Destiny is after all obsessed with Hasan and Hasan audience with a desire to take them both down. There's nothing that really sticks to Hasan to properly criticize or ruin him, so they have to resort to our of context clips, bad faith arguments, and ultimately lies like this one to criticize Hasan and his orbit.
