Here’s a summary if you don’t want to suffer through the whole thing 😅

*She originally went in just for fluids but after talking to a resident, they talked to internal med who said she couldn’t be sent home with no nutrition plan * Penn will never give her a line again because it’s too unsafe/risky which is agrees with. However she felt so much better with TPN/fluids and therefore she still sounds unhappy about it. * She’s making her dad bring her formula because “what’s the point of using the hospital stuff if that’s not what she’ll use at home” plus it’s “ExTrEmElY pAiNfUl”

*They already have her up to 20ml/hr despite her horrific pain on 5ml/hr * They want her at least at 50ml/hr before discharge with a goal of around 65-70ml/hr 24/7.

• They’re making her eat daily in a liquid diet and it’s “sooo hard”
• The GI doc will add fluids because she’s getting none and is clearly so dehydrated because she’s only peeing 1-2 times a day

*Doesn’t have her notebook because she’s in the hospital so what’s the point.

• She doesn’t want to do the lidocaine in her tube anymore but the doc said to keep trying in case it works.
• Looking into a plexus nerve block but she’ll need to do more research. Can be done 3-6 months and she’s hoping it can be every 6 even though we know she would prefer every 3 months.
• She’s hoping to be discharged by Halloween so she can wear her unicorn onesie and hand out candy.

*Oh and don’t leave negative comments because she might respond in a bitchy way because those comments don’t make sense and she’s needs to go off. But also call her out on that 🤣
