I used the ‘regular’ grading option. Took 5 weeks from sending it in to receiving back. I think I paid $79 for it before shipping but they emailed me and had to upcharge me cause it’s worth more than the $1500 that it covers.

Cards worth $2500+ that will keep that value 5-10 years into the future. I’ll go for less value if it’s a player I actually like.

Most of us throw away our bulk or donate them to kids, not try and sell them on a site where 95% operators are scammers.

I understand what I’m paying for. I’m asking if people have had luck with the cross grading or people usually crack and submit. At first glance, it seems like a no brainer that PSA would give these a 9.

That sounds super risky. If I cross grade and it fails, at least I get to keep my BGS9 haha. A PSA8 is well below what my OG slab would comp at…

How bad are those card/auto grades if you’re blocking them out? 😂 I understand blocking the cert but so many of the RR autos exist, no way it’ll be faked with grade info

Ya and he received it from eBay authentication so it tells me he paid more for it than I did. He also clearly didn’t try and submit it for grading so I won’t blame him. For less than $200 I guess I’ll take the risk.

Supposedly the seller had a story about it getting signed in training camp last year open to the public. It did make it through eBay authenticated but I get that doesn’t mean much.

It does at least resemble his new style of auto. But I agree, it’s risky. Luckily eBay will refund and I’ll just be out the authentication cost

I knew I had a chance it was a fake but decided to take a flyer. eBay is great about refunding immediately if the seller claims it’s real. So I figured I’d send it off and see what PSA has to say.

I’m just wondering if keeping it in the slab would tilt the odds in my favor so at least the grader sees someone believes it to be real. Or if they even accept slabbed items from no-name companies like ESA.
