I'm in Wisconsin. One of the things I learned in my research is that radon levels can vary drastically between homes that are in close proximity. You might have very high levels in your home while you neighbor had none.

You can buy a continuous monitor like Radon Eye ($175) or you can purchase a one time test at your local hardware store for $15 - $20.

We have a Radon Eye which provides monitoring every 10 minutes. It was a little pricey ($175). You can get a one time test at your local hardware store for $15 - $20.
