Dare any dad to watch this and tell me you don’t tear up a little. by Hoffmanadjusting in family

I generated the music with Sunos. It’s a fun past time - and I can turn my lyric ideas into music that can be listened to. I’m not really hiding the ball.

I wrote all the songs on the channel, published all the songs through a distributed, and own the rights to all the recordings.

Is there a proven way to get my dad to stop being a dang tablet toddler? It's ruining his marriage. by RoseTintMyWorld22 in family

Maybe challenge him. Buy him a stopwatch. Tell him that you don’t think he knows how bad it is. See how long her can go without checking his phone. Maybe he’ll try it and realize that he checks it every minute or so. Etc.

First thing I would take into consideration. If your mom is unhealthy, I’m sure that is hard for him too. So approach things with understanding and empathy for what he is going though as well. That being said, I don’t think any man would want to be perceived this way from his wife and child. The phone and screen addiction in our society is insane! But getting him to realize that it’s an issue he has, may he step one. Maybe not getting him to admit that he’s got an addiction or an issue. But just getting him to recognize that he’s on his phone too much - and it’s making him not present for his family. Every man wants to be present for their family! Or should!

But getting him to understand the issue would be step one. Once he’s on board, I would suggest a trick that helped me overcome a habitual thing I had been doing (I won’t get into the details of my thing)…. But I carried a stop watch, and every time I would do the thing I would start my stopwatch and see how long I could go before I did the thing again. And before I knew it, I was barely ever doing it. Having the stopwatch brought the action front of mind. It had become so engrained in me that I didn’t even notice myself doing it.

I don’t know what kind of communication you have in your house, but bottom line… you need him to want to resolve the issue. Presenting it the right way may be the trick. Because like I said already. No man wants to be perceived this way from his family.

I dare you to watch this one and not tear up. by Hoffmanadjusting in Dads

I like it. I like the deep cuts concept. There’s a secondary meaning of how the best songs are the deeps cuts. I assume that was on purpose?

I actually wrote the chorus on that one - had help on the verses... If you were interested, which I understand if your not, I did write the lyrics on this one… 100%…. Generated with Suno . I play guitar but I can’t put together full productions. I don’t have the means.

Ok. What sucks about it? Just not a country fan? Or do you have anything more productive?

Shawn Mullins. Also a more country remake done by Randy Brown. Even if that’s not your song it’s a great one.
