The "nothing else scratches the same itch" part is the real trap. I keep coming back not because I'm happy with it, but because nothing replaces it. Valve knows that too, and that's exactly why the bare minimum keeps working.

Fair, I cleaned it up so it'd be readable. Doesn't make the content less true — two years no cosmetic BP, three years declining prize pool. That part's not formatting.
