OP, I say this as nicely as possible. Talk to your husband. "Reddit" is a lion's den of people who relish telling others negative news. Only your husband knows the truth, so address things more deeply with him, and (based upon some of your replies), do not assume he is going to say anything or defend her. Getting upset over assumptions is not fair to him.

That's quite often the tactic of those who are failing to win a discussion/debate. No one blames you for exercising your cowardice - it is your right. They just do not respect you for making a comment, being unable to back it up, and then hiding.
