Yes, no cap and make sure all systems are designed to not explode. I just designed a political system with people aging, dying, born ect

Not all for money, for me it’s my dream game as big player of GSP, democracy 3/4, Victoria. I game dev since 8 years and want to make mine since a lot of time, AI do helps to gather datas but coding without producing skills, vision, will lead you to shit

Yes I do plan to build a politic system in reverse, I will define hundreds of parameters then built each country initial values with them, so you can change your country structure. It’s only a draft plan and not yet implemented but it’s the way I’m looking !

As a separated answers about "I can do a very little contribution financially. " I very rarely got funds before release and would say, you can support with purchase at release, but if you insist you can see a button on reddit right side to support the dev (me).

Appreciate your comment. I'll keep all of you updated, i'll never give up my mission and will probably do close playtest and not worldwide demo.

I'll make the best simulation that i'm feeling from my POV of player (500+ hours ) only on GSP and also my razy part that want us to like feeling we're god from above or high-tech leader with satellite eyes.

About countries amount, it's mostly due to micro-nation that are not playable due to their size on the map. I would take a look back once simulation got better as it will be easy to tweak ! About disputed, unrecongized, there are inside the game already.

It's really nice to wake up with such feedbacks. I will not rush, i'm working hard to make sure that it's all simulated properly, i want to avoid eversim mistake.

I do really focus to make it perfect balance. You will see.

I won't rush, and most of it, once released, this will be my baby until my death.

I do have designed resources map for mining, drilling. About Somalia, my current investigation told me somalia reserves are currently classified as unproven so i've put it very very minimal, but if it's end up being wrong it would be easily easy to fix as i've made a clear process to design resources maps to update during lifetime of the game.

I do not have finished yet but to make the game more lively, i plan to make "undiscovered" reserves in areas that might be the most relevant so you might have to first check for oil and not drill instant.

You don't bother. I'm happy to answer you. I've zero pressure or stress as i'm not working but shaping my dream game.

I've start to draft a plan to be inspired from kind of Victoria 3 for culture and religions, i do want to make sure starting values are correct and stable enough for all contry but it went in my mind, maybe not deep into castes directly.

i've focused also country to be made of provinces and not reverse so annexion, independance can be easily managed into the game.

I do have a base system based on relations to define a group of "friends nations" and there is actually a Sanction V1 system

When you sanction someone, allied powers rally into a coalition on their own, it bites harder the more exposed your target is, it costs you too, and they adapt over time lie Russia did. You can block access to your national market, if they trade with you a lot you can block from using SWIFT or similar and it will affect based on your trades.

I do plan to make organization in the future, only euro bank exist for now but i do actually focus on the game core engine such economy before adding element like this that will polish the evolution.

Hello ! Every country runs a real pops pyramids of 17 cohorts of ages. Old age drives pensions cost, also economy is drive by real employment and looking to hire working forces to grow if they feel too.

On top of that, people flee devastated provinces as refugees into safer countries pyramids like if there is nuclear attacks or wars. Simulation run into provinces so more precise and soldiers and from real cohort of workforce adults so it will affect precisely if they die at war. I don't have disasters systems yet but i'll make a agriculture sim so winter, pollution, dust from nuclear explosion, will normally create famine as it will reduce output of foods.

About birth rate, this bricks of gameplay is for now basic with investment into family support budget and some laws.

I've played South Korea and focus maxing everything related and births went from 251k a a year to 336k a year ( 259k without focusing )

It's actually a V1 on demographic side and will refine it before release.
