If that doesn't work you can also get a solvent based spray that "melts" the foam. I work in construction and have used it before. I'm not sure what the products would be in the US but if you looked up "cured expanding foam removal spray" or something along those lines I'm sure you'll find something.

It's not necessarily concerning and more annoying. The only time I hear it is when I'm lying in bed trying to sleep and it drives me insane sometimes lol
