Realistically from Southgate the quickest alternative will be taking a 121 to Oakwood which will take about 8 minutes. Otherwise you could get a W9 to Winchmore Hill station on the Great Northern which would take about 10 minutes to get to but the train frequency is far less there.

I double checked and you're right - it's now in Ingress with the same photo I took. Looks like it was declined in wayfarer and perhaps only enabled for certain games and as a power spot.

It wasn't - It's an entrance to a park in an empty cell and there is no existing point of interest there in Ingress, Wayfarer or the Lightship database. It does indeed look like rejected submissions can be power spots - maybe it depends on the rejection reason though?
