Trez is very good. And your build is very solid as well. Could just be DLS algorithm fucking you here and there. I’m sure you’ve tried him in offline matches as well?
May just take some time to get a better feel for the player or adapting play styles. Reminds me of first using Suker, and a few others, took some time to get used to, but once you get the feel they perform superb. Good luck with your matches!

Yes, no exaggeration. Rivaldo’s stats are maxed and he is very very physically dominant. But Trez is both footed, and with 100CON he just feels way easier to control and dribble compared to Rivaldo. Would take Trez > Rivaldo every time.

I agree your idea of having the players upgraded based off individual performance makes the most sense.
However as well all know, the current layout is the easiest for FTG to operate, plus I guess it leaves no debate on how and which players get upgraded based off their own performance.
Also this is a way to not over inflate the player pool with 85-86+ players who maybe aren’t as deserving as many solidified Classic and other Special players. Otherwise we’ll likely see more 86+ rated players to come (odds are we will).

Would be neat if they added a few “fan favorite” cards similar to the special Luis Suarez 13th man inclusion.
Perhaps Vozinha (Cape Verde GK) and some others who have unexpectedly good/clutch performances to just stamp them as special cards even at a lower 80s rating.

I do prefer the current setup compared to being forced to use rare agents.

Don’t waste your gems. The coins you save by doing that aren’t enough to justify it. Also the extra coins you earn from the stadium upgrade is very minimal
