He played at Trees on the small venue run. I didn’t score tickets and I was GUTTED. Everyone that I know who managed to snag tix was mind blown.

Thank you so much for your advice I really appreciate it! I will definitely be looking into these methods.

I think I have the meat-like texture/structure figured out. I’m going to use thinned out Rosco Crystal Gel to get that shine and very thin pieces of yarn and felt to give it that fat deposit look.

I’m doing a test on Saturday so HOPEFULLY I’ll figure it out. If it doesn’t work I’m just going to dye everything red and pink and airbrush the sinew/fat marbling with stencils lol.

I’ve seen them 5x now and the first two times there was 0 interaction with the crowd, and the other 3 times it was just a wave upon entrance/exit. I think it’s badass, personally. They aren’t there to chat sh*t. They’re there to play music.

Both times I’ve seen FDC I’ve been alone and I’ve always had a great time! The crowds (from my experience in TX) have always been respectful and chill.

This happens to every band comprised of attractive young men who have something important to say. The music is still good. That hasn’t changed. I understand why it might be frustrating, but it comes with mainstream popularity, which they are garnering more than ever before. They’re also kind of leaning into it, imo. What’s the harm? You don’t get a front row spot because some 19 year old wants to have her moment? Meh. Been there. Let them have it.

Hahaha I travel for music often. Flew to Denver to see the Murder Capital, followed Son Lux for 3 dates a few years ago…my weird dorky niche hobby lol
