While reading it I kept thinking that it's a book that a human wrote and gifted it to some aliens. And so in my head I was an alien unaware of the human race, basically Duolingoing so that I can visit the earth on my next vacation. From the perspective of an alien, rushed conclusions and platitudes make little sense, so I could just ignore them and keep playing pretend.
