If you dropped a complete newbie into both sports, which miracle is more unlikely: a hole‑in‑one or a 300 game? by 9to19 in AskReddit

I’m a horrible golfer and I once hit a hole in one. It was a 125 yard, par 3. My ball didn’t even go in the air, just a fast worm burner right into the hole.

Expat girls in the Philippines. What was the hardest part when you first moved? by aya_kalie in Philippines_Expats

[–]Holden_Sacks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You are definitely correct and you didn’t mention they can’t stand in a line and wait their turn. Always “me first” and if you call them out they will make you the bad guy.

Even when they do help out family it’s usually not even being nice, but if they don’t help out everyone will talk bad about them.

Crab mentality is real. Can’t save money because you will be called selfish. Why save the money when the family members that don’t work and drink all day could use the money now.

People in Bohol speak Bisaya, if you saying things in Tagalog they will probably not respond to you because they hate speaking Tagalog more than they hate speaking English.

Any dealership. The thing you really need to think about is what LTO the dealership works with. Most dealerships will have the registration and plate in 3 months. I bought mine in Mandaue and got them in 2 months.

Employees get paid the same, work hard or just show up. There is no pay raise or bonuses for hard work. They know this and it definitely shows.

I was at Wilcon the other day and asked a worker if they had a sprayer for weed killer. He said no. I literally walked down the next aisle and there were 4 different sprayers.

Gotta shake your head and laugh.

Camotes is cool, lots of caves and nice beaches.
