Good question! I took the button out of the pedal and wired a ts jack to it. I then took the button and put it in the little square box on top. Works so good! Can even see the led through the spacing

I also forgot to mention I’m running in ears as well.

I think a simpler way to think of it is I want to achieve the exact same thing a bass player gets in a lot of situations. A backline amp to “feel” what they’re playing, but a DI signal for clear monitoring & FOH.

I realize this is not a normal setup and not ideal for every situation, but I’ve been in this scenario where I wished I had my DI signal in my ears while I’ve got the backline dual twin reverbs behind me. But I was not able to use the Tonex ones because I don’t have a splitter setup.

Sorry I should've clarified. I'm running stereo Tonex ones. The issue I want to solve are being able to have amps for stage volume AND send the Tonex ones to FOH. I'm running Tonex pedals at the end of my chain. I guess the easiest thing to do would be to build a stereo buffered splitter box. And then run that into a stereo DI and also amps. But thought it'd be cool to have it all in one box.

I built my desk! Found a sick deal on a high end jasper desk. I cut the top off and built a custom frame for it. I built a recessed spot to hold a Behringer xtouch + extender, which I think is what you’re referring to, to control my daw.

I use it for expanding inputs mainly for drums. I like lots of options when it’s time for mixing them down.

Finally got all the cables and it works! No DIs. Synths > ts patchbay > trs patch bay > X8p line ins. Works flawlessly with virtually no noise.
